- What the three rock types are and how they are formed (sedimentary from layers being deposited on lake or ocean bottoms, igneous from lava or magma cooling, matemorphic from other rocks being put under heat and pressure)
- What dangers are created by volcanoes (lava, ash, volcanic bombs) and why they look different from each other (the viscosity of the lava they are made from)
- What problems are involved with buildings made of limestone (being dissolved by acid rain). The video below this post is worth watching to help you with this.
- What fossils are and why they are important (dead organisms buried in sedimentary rock, can help Scientists find out about the past).
There will also be a little bit of time before the test in class for anyone to ask any questions they aren't sure about. Make sure you bring in your revision sheet to help you just before the test. Good luck, see you tomorrow!
